Osteosynthesis for humeral fractures
Osteosynthesis for humeral fractures at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine:
- Osteosynthesis of diaphyseal fractures of the humerus;
- Osteosynthesis of the proximal humerus;
- Osteosynthesis of the distal humerus;
- Osteosynthesis of the humeral condyles.
Humeral osteosynthesis at different levels varies in indications, type of metal structures, treatment time, methods of additional external fixation, and subsequent rehabilitation measures.
Duration of surgery: 60-90 minutes.
Postoperative hospital stay is 5-7 days.
